Daniel was deported to Babylon in 587 B.C. During this time Nebuchadnezzar was King of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar decided to mock God and was horrified to see a bony finger scratch a message on the wall which he, his magicians or conjurers could not decode. The queen stated that she knew of a man who had insight and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods, who could decode this message. This man was David.
